John, WOW great site and what an icredible player you turned out to be. I am proud of you. I also am so sorry about your dad. He was always good to me and he loved you and Vinnie so much. Tell Vinnie that I said hello and if you guye are in the area please let me know. I have the greatest memories of the club and all the great friends that I made. I miss those days and I miss those friends. I hope to come up to Florida in the future. I am still playing drums some, not as much as in the past. I love it so much. I will never let it go. I wish the absolute best my man and I know your hard work will pay off...shit it already has! |

Hey John, I'm so glad Pat introduced me to you last night at Malloy's. I checked out your cd samples and liked how you tickled the strings and made some crazy great sounding tunes so much I had to order your namesake cd! I still can't believe you blade 25 miles around naples, that crazy man! But you can't get in the shape you are by butt loung'n on the beach drinking rita's! Keep up the great attitude and tunes!
All the best, Mark "AFLAC MAN" Petri |

Hi John . My name is Gary Sillato . I found out about you by Ray Smith, ( My Next Door Neighbor and Best buddy). Words can't discribe my joy and pleasure when we listened to your CD. Ray and I Jam often to covers and enjoy it. But there is nothing like original music from within. Ray's really a gifted natural on harmonica. I have played Bass since 1968. I roadied with Jeff Beck in 1972 for 8 great gigs when touring with Ursa Major ,a trio formed by Dick Wagner. Greatest memories ever. Well, Maybe I will see you live sometime. I thank the Lord that you found your gift of music and Guitar. If you ever come up to Rochester or Niagra falls/ Buffalo area ,give Ray or me advanced Holler. God bless and best wishes for 2009. Gary Sillato. 1- 585-223-4866 |

It is a serendipitous occasion when one stumbles on such a great talent as you, while doing a blind business transaction on ebay!!!
I looked at one of your interviews on UTUBE and what impressed me most is the impression that I got: that you put your career on hold while raising a family. WAY more fullfilling than fame and fortune.
Thanks for the 50/50 it ROCKS (and jazzes, and blues, and cleans).
Please take a look at the AXE FX when you go to NAMM (if you get a chance) and dro me an email with your impressions. It will take me a while to save (and justify) that much money for a multi effects but if does what everyone says, then.....
Peace,
Doug |

Johnny my old friend! Long time no talk! I think it's been close to 15 years or more. Just found your website through a link on Frank Grizantis site. I lost your phone number so I haven't been able to call you. I see by your site you are doing well in the music world. I'm still playing harp and have recently started to learn the bass guitar. I bought a Hofner Violin bass and a Hartke 3500 amp with two 15 in. speakers. It's fun! I don't play harp as much as I used to. I haven't been in a band in quite some years now but I still like going out and sitting in with the local bands when I get a chance. You have to send me your phone number and email address. I have some old pics I'd like to send you from the time you played at LaSalle High and some pics from when you played at Goat Island w/ Vonik Aloian and Bob Long.
Well old buddy.take care and I hope to hear from you soon.
